Skywarn.
JTRG encourages its members and community to participate
in the National Weather Service's Skywarn program.
You must be at least 14 years old, be able to observe the
weather (no instruments required,) and have access to a
telephone, email, Internet or ham radio in order to file
reports.
For Amateur Radio operators in the Palm Beach County
area, informal and formal nets may be established on the
emergency net frequency of 147.225 PL 107.2, when severe
weather threatens the area. The alternate/backup
frequency is 146.67.
